Cotswold Water Park has over 140 lakes set in over 40 square miles of countryside.
The lakes have been created as a result of gravel quarrying - an industry which continues today with 2 million tonnes of gravel and sand extracted per year. It is located on the Gloucestershire Wiltshire border between Cirecester and Swindon.
